The Ironheart Challenge brings awareness to the 1 in 100 born with congenital heart disease.
Ironheart Challenge Goals:
- Get participants physically moving
- Positively impact heart-health
- Spread awareness
What is a Virtual Challenge?
It's quite simple. We give you the challenge and you get to do it on your own terms, at your own time, in your own place. There are countless ways to get physically moving and active. We don't discriminate. Whether it be swimming, biking, running, dancing, skiing, yoga, hiking or some other form of movement, it's up to you!
What support can I expect to receive?
You will receive lots of support on Ironheart Connect. This closed Facebook group for Ironheart members is a safe place to ask all of your questions related to the Ironheart Challenge along with topics like dealing with the challenges of living with heart disease.
What are the metrics?
This challenge has three components: 100 miles, 100 days and 100 hours. We encourage you to complete them all. The last day to register is July 15.
How do I track my progress?
Tracking is on the honor system. You track your days, miles, and hours using the device of your choice. You'll find all the support you need on the Ironheart Connect Facebook page.
What is the cost?
A $30 donation enters you into the challenge and secures your medal. You may choose to pay the $30 registration or optionally fundraise for Ironheart and meet your registration will be waived after you raise $30.
Can I fundraise along with the Ironheart Challenge?
